You are then told to duplicate the first note of the chord with your left hand but an octave lower, this gives you a bass note. When playing this chord with its bass line becomes simple you can then go onto learning a few more easy chords. Once you know a handful of chords you can play them changing from one to another in order and you will discover that you are playing real piano songs or accompaniments. This is a great method for learning the piano as it makes you feel secure and gives you an appetite for learning more. The course continues teaching more different rhythms, more chords and melodies and each time you are shown how this is written musically. For each exercise you will see the notes you are playing written in keyboard diagrams and traditional musical notation.
